It began with one store in Omaha and has grown into 5 specialty running stores in 3 states (i.e. Nebraska, Iowa, Utah). The Company is owned and managed by Jim and Mike Ewoldt. The Company does business under the Peak Performance and Walk & Run Fitness name plates.

The staff of Peak Performance consists of running enthusiasts who have logged tens of thousands of miles and completed over 200 marathons. It is their dedication to the sport that has made Peak Performance one of the top running store chains in the country.
